What is the NFG?
The Nebraska Film Group is an organization designed to facilitate most every aspect of the filmmaking process, from pre-production through distribution. Our network includes experienced talent in nearly every field of the film industry. By working with The NFG you will have unparalleled access to what the Midwest has to offer, while harnessing the experience our members have in the local film community.
As part of our commitment to furthering the local film community, we have built a working/teaching studio designed to provide an experience based foundation to industry newcomers, while creating opportunities for seasoned veterans to fine tune their skills and collaborate with their colleagues.
Who is it for?
The NFG (Nebraska Film Group) was created for people from every level of filmmaking experience
As a newcomer you will find valuable training both in and out of the classroom. You will also be able to apply for on-set apprenticing from some of the industry's best, in a wide range of fields. Our networking events will connect you with talent and resources you will need to begin your first project(s), while providing an environment to further your relationships with other filmmakers, talent and crew.
For the more seasoned filmmakers, you will have the opportunity to utilize resources the NFG has to offer, for your various film projects. Our networking events will connect you with new talent, and work as a catalyst to spawn new projects with other filmmakers. Our studio will also offer advanced classes and discussion with some of the top industry talent.
What Do We Offer?
At the NFG our biggest value proposition is our networking events. By generating a pressure-free environment for members to interact, these events will serve as a catalyst for new projects and collaborations that will create greater opportunity for everyone involved and strengthen our film community as a whole.

Our deep-roots in the local film community puts us in a unique position to connect filmmakers with the very best the Midwest has to offer. Throughout the year, The NFG will invite top industry talent for special events. During their stay in Omaha, members will be invited to private engagements with special guests.
