The Nebraska Film Group (NFG) was created with the purpose of promoting the local film community and creating an environment where filmmakers can realize their ideas.
Through networking, training, and on-set apprenticing, we have created a working/teaching studio that will provide filmmakers & actors with opportunities to learn from the industry's best both in and out of the classroom.
Additionally, NFG is working to bring various productions from around the world to Omaha and the surrounding areas.

“DIESEL”
Important notice:
DIESEL is an action film set in the 1970’s. Classic muscle car races and chases backbone the story that follows Diesel, a young man with a plan to win, cash in and make a new life for himself. Cutting edge filming techniques and equipment (This film will be shot in Cinemascope on the Epic from RED digital cinema.) will be used to shoot DIESEL and talent will be paid for their roles.
Auditions will be held by appointment and invite only.

Diesel: Male/lead 18-28 to play 22
Sara: Female/lead 17-28 to play 18
Sheriff : Male/lead 40/60 to play 50
Deputy Sheriff: 18-28 to play 22
filming is expected to begin in mid August of 2009.
